Find Your Way LA ("FYLA", "we", "us") is operated by Breadcrumbzs Tech, Inc. It is a members-only service that helps people find places to go in Los Angeles by text message and on this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us when you apply or join: first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, city or neighborhood, interests, and optional social handles or a short bio.
Messages you send to FYLA by text, and the replies we send you, including the places we recommended and the places you saved or said were not for you.
Basic technical data when you visit the website, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, and the IP address and time at which you agreed to receive text messages.
How we use it
To review your application, give you access, and text you personalized recommendations.
To remember your preferences (for example places you saved) so recommendations improve over time.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations (including keeping a record of your consent to receive texts), and improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Text messaging (SMS) data
Your mobile phone number and your consent to receive text messages are used only to operate FYLA. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Service providers who process data for us
We use vendors to run FYLA and they process data only on our behalf: Supabase (database and hosting), Twilio (sending and receiving text messages), Anthropic (an AI model that reads your message and the places we retrieve in order to write a reply), Resend (email), and our website hosting provider.
The content of your text messages is sent to Anthropic to generate replies. We do not permit these providers to use it for their own marketing.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety or security of FYLA or others.
Retention
We keep your information while you are a member and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete or anonymize it. We keep a record of your text-message consent and opt-out for as long as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages. You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or to opt out of any sharing, by emailing support@findyourwayla.com. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete and correct personal information; we will not discriminate against you for using them.
Security and children
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. FYLA is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
